Community gardening in Rastrick
Inspired by the success of the pocket orchards planted by Fruit For All , a recipient of a Voice Your Choice grant, a team of volunteers from Fruit for All, Incredible Edible and Rastrick Big Local have transformed a border in Carr Green Recreational ground. The creation of the cycle track there provided the perfect opportunity to shape the border along the cemetery wall and the border was planted using donations of plants from local gardens.
The “Environment” has been voted as the theme for Voice your Choice in 2019.
