MINUTES RBL PARTNERSHIP MEETING

Monday 13th June 2022 at the Arncliffe Centre

1. WELCOME AND APOLOGIES (AND ANY DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST)

The Chair welcomed everyone to the meeting and apologies were noted.

2. MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING AND MATTERS ARISING

The minutes of the meeting of 25th April 2022 were approved.
Update on matters arising:

Carr Green zipwire: All parts have now been replaced and the zipwire is fully functional and being well used.

Burnsall Road swings: We do not have any further update on this. Action: Amanda to ask Sophie for an update

3. LTO UPDATE

The LTO provided a financial update. The approved budget to the end of the period is £521,.650. Of this the amount of £256.300 has been drawn down. The expenditure for year 8 is £65,133.04. CFFC
currently hold £63,208.99 being £24,016.96 for year 8 and £39,129.03 carried forward from year 7.

Due to there being two applications approved to be allocated to the Big Impact fund it will be necessary to vire funds between budget headings. Action: Amanda L to contact Local Trust

4. BL REP UPDATE

Anne reminded the partnership members that registration for Big Local Connects is now open.
A survey has been sent to all partnership members from Local Trust and Anne encouraged everyone to complete this.

Anne updated that Local Trust are changing the way they work with Big Local areas. Big Local
representatives are to be replaced by Big Local co-ordinators who will be employed by Local Trust and have expertise in different areas. As this is still being finalised Anne will still be the RBL rep until
December.

5. SUB GROUP UPDATES

a) Community update report: (see sections 6 and 7)

(b) Community Small Grants

The following small grant applications were paid out:

Rastrick Juniors Football Club – £1109.70
Turning Point Counselling – £975
Upper Edge Baptist Church – £700
Space Diamond Jubilee Event – £876.80

b) Marketing and website

We are continuing to update the website and facebook with local information.

(c) Treasurers Report

The balance of the RBL account at 12th June 2022 remains at £633.69.
An audit of the Rastrick Big Local account is being undertaken.

6. BIG IMPACT

Cromwell Bottom: Payment is currently pending as further documents are awaited.

Rastrick Juniors Football Club: We have no heard anything further on the Clubhouse and will ask for an update. Action: Angela to email Sophie

Rastrick Library: Danny and Amanda are due to meet with representatives of CMBC to discuss the
possibility of a long term project with the library.

7. ANY OTHER BUSINESS

(a) We have not heard anything further from the college with regards to a project with their 6th form.

(b) A soil barrier is in place at Sherburn Road and we discussed the possibility of wild flowers being
planted to enhance this. We will investigate this. Action: Elliot to make enquiries
