MINUTES RBL PARTNERSHIP MEETING

Monday 20th February 2023 at the Arncliffe Centre

  1. WELCOME AND APOLOGIES (AND ANY DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST)

    The Chair welcomed everyone to the meeting and apologies were noted.

  2. MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING AND MATTERS ARISING

    The minutes of the meeting of 5th December 2022 were approved.

  3. LTO UPDATE

    The LTO provided a financial update. The approved budget to the end of the period is £521,.650. Of this the amount of £256.300 has been drawn down.

    The income drawdown for year 8 is £89,150. Funding of £24,525 from year 8 brought forward. No funding has yet been drawn down for year 9 though expenditure for this year is £5730.10. Therefore CFFC currently hold £18,794.90.

    CFFC are still awaiting confirmation from Local Trust regarding virement of the funds between the
    budget headings

  4. BL REP UPDATE

    Anne updated that the final Big Local Connects for 2023 will take place on 27th and 28th October in
    Nottingham. Registration has not yet opened.

    5. SUB GROUP UPDATES

    (a) Community Small Grants

    The following small grants have been paid out
  • Cornerstone Church for Pantivity Christmas Adventure – paid December 2022
  • Soulstation Christmas Angel Mission for Rastrick paid December 2022
  • Curious Motion Dance for Wellbeing – paid January 2023
  • St John’s Church for tree surgery paid January 2023
  • Active Calderdale for activity sessions at Space paid January 2023

    An application for the continuation of the Art group at the Space has been approved and we are
    awaiting the BACS form.

    b) Marketing and website

    We are continuing to update the website and facebook with local information.

    c) Treasurers Report

    The balance of the RBL account at 5th December 2022 is £633.69.

    The funding for the Friends of Rastrick Cemetery of £300 is still being held.

  1. BIG IMPACT

    Rastrick Juniors Football Club: The groundworks for the clubhouse have been undertaken.

    Rastrick Library: The possibility of a long term project with the library is still under consideration. RBL
    have met with a representative from Locality who is due to meet with members of Calderale Council on behalf of RBL.

  2. ANY OTHER BUSINESS

    a) Reflect Recharge Workshop: The partnership discussed the recent workshop which took place
    at the end of January. We have been approached by a couple of groups interested in energy efficiency
    and the partnership discussed whether a project on green energy was possible. If we decide to pursue
    this further we could get support from Big Local in this respect. Gary and Elliot agreed to assist with
    research on this.


    b) Declaration of Interest forms were signed off by the partnership
