Works are progressing!

It’s fantastic to see that work has finally started on the Rastrick library to provide “access for all” to everybody in the Community.

The Friends of Rastrick Library have worked for many years holding events and activities and seeking funding to bring this project to fruition.

We recently had a visit from the Local Trust who work with the Big Lottery to show them some of the projects funded.  At the library we spoke with some of the hardworking team of workmen who have undertaken a huge amount of work so far.  We’ve added a picture of the plan displayed in the library and a photo of works being undertaken to date.
