Community Transport Calderdale   The aim of CTC is to provide transport to those residents of Calderdale who cannot access existing forms of transport for reasons of ill-health, disability, isolation, poverty or social exclusion.

If you fall into any of these categories, then you are entitled to use the transport provided by CTC.

CTC requires all its clients to register to become a member for legal reasons.  All transport CTC provides is for members only (except for the Community Bus registered bus routes. 

To sign up to the service, the form can be downloaded, completed and returned together with a fee of £5.00 for two years.

E7: Brighouse – Elland – Ripponden 

This service will generally stay the same apart from a slight retiming on the first journey in a morning.

 258: Clifton – Brighouse – Elland

This service currently operates five journeys a day between 09:40 – 14:40 on Monday – Fridays. We are proposing to reduce this to three journeys a day (see 257 below), and no longer serve Clifton. Clifton will continue to be served by the 256/259 every hour. A new service (257) will work with the 258 to continue to provide an hourly service between Brighouse and Elland. Rosemount Estate in Elland will also no longer be served due to very low usage.

257 Brighouse – Woodhouse – Elland

This new service will operate every two hours between Brighouse, Woodhouse and Elland. This service will replace the 384 through Woodhouse, but also work with the 258 to provide an hourly service between Brighouse and Elland.

547 – Brighouse to Hudderfield

This route goes via Rastrick Common and Crowtrees Lane to Huddersfield.

549 Halifax – Huddersfield via Nunnery Lane,Rastrick

This route goes down Jumble Dyke from the top of town.
